By accessing or using Sano, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.
Sano is an AI-powered language learning platform that provides speaking practice sessions with AI tutors. Our service includes voice and text-based practice, pronunciation assessment, feedback on grammar and vocabulary, and progress tracking. The AI tutors are designed to help you improve your speaking skills in any language at any level.
To use Sano, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use Sano.
Sano offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are in USD and may vary by region. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. You can manage your subscription from the Billing page in your account settings.
You agree to use Sano only for its intended purpose: language learning and practice. You may not: use the service for any illegal purpose; attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the AI systems; share your account with others; use automated systems to access the service; or engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the service.
When you use Sano, your voice recordings and text messages are processed by our AI systems. We may store session data to provide feedback and track progress. Audio recordings are stored temporarily for the duration of your session and may be deleted afterward. You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a license to process it for service delivery.
Sano and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Sano and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our AI models, prompts, and training data are proprietary and confidential.
Sano is provided 'as is' without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our service will meet your specific requirements or achieve any particular learning outcomes. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of Sano after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
